Welcome to Tennessee Boer Goats at Walnut Hills Farm!
Our MissionOur goal is to provide reliable, consistent and proven genetics in the Boer Goat business. We continually work to refine predictable growth rates, hardiness, composition and uniform coloration . Our emphasis is on providing the Boer Meat producing herdsman with bloodlines having predictable birth weights, wean weights and slaughter weights. Boer Genetics: At Walnut Hills we can offer genetics from the following names that have been the foundation of the United States Boer business: Rambo USBGA Triple Elite Ennobled Pipeline 2000 IBGA National Champion Codi Bigdog Sr Grand Champion Renoir ABGA National Champion Eggsfile Ennobled Mojo Magic Ennobled Concho Ennobled Kaptein Ennobled Codi Queen Ennobled In the last two years we have seen the value of adding Full Codi/PCI genetics to our herd. As a results, we now own BZ1 P19R (Ennobled) a full Codi/PCI buck who is a son to Renoir. We currently have full Codi/PCI kids on the ground that are a cross between Bigdog does and BZ1 P19R. As a side note, some of the top selling Codi/PCI herds have BZ1 P19R as the reference sire used to build their program. Give us a call for a reasonably priced herd sire! News: July 2007 - We have added some Tennessee Brush Goats to our herd, they have begun kidding in July and BZ1 P19R sired kids out of SA does are not far behind. July 2007 - We submitted DNA material off BZ1 P19R and he is expected to be Ennobled soon!
Walnut Hills Farm:Walnut Hills is located in Middle Tennessee about 45 miles North-East of Nashville in the rural community of Bethpage. Our Farm spans about 50 acres of rolling pastures in both Sumner and Trousdale counties. Our farm name comes from the numerous Walnut trees scattered through out our property. We operate a all-natural farm, where our Boer Goats browse down the weeds and our Limousin Cattle consume the majority of the grass/clover pasture. Take a look at our Goats For Sale page and our Farm Services page! On All Natural Aged Beef page we have information about our Farm Fresh "All Natural" Aged USDA Inspected Beef, finished to your specifications. This beef is raised on grain and natural pastures, with no pesticides, herbicides, steroids or antibiotics.
